‘Crystal’ 2022 Croatina Pink Pet Nat

Grapes grown in Lombardy, Italy.

What’s the wine like?

Crystal’s a really fun one, packed with flavour and good vibes. Rhubarb and strawberries on the nose with a slight minerality on the palate and some thirst-quenching grapefruit notes that compliment the wine’s fruity, creamy style. Fruity but still dry, this wine has it all.

Christmas Pairing Suggestion: Why not open Crystal as an NYE treat? A great aperitivo to serve with medium age cheese/canapes.

'Roger' 2023 Rondo Col Fondo

Grapes grown in Hampshire, UK

What's the wine like?

It's a super deep, unusual wonderland of a wine. Notes of cherries, blackcurrants and sloe berries. Soft and lovely, but given it's been made like a red and fermented in bottle (without being disgorged) it is fizzy but loses it's fizz quicker than most wines - very unusual - in a clear bottle so you can see the dark purpleness!

Christmas Pairing Suggestion: Good with mature cheese, turkey, red meat and Boxing Day cold meats.

‘Kyra’ 2022 Sauvignon Blanc

Grapes grown in Bordeaux, France.

What’s the wine like?

A fresh, clean style with lovely textured mouthfeel and tropical notes with passion fruit and melon. An easy drinker, crowd pleaser, glass clinker.

Christmas Pairing Suggestion: Pairs well with fish and vegetarian dishes - a premium crowd pleasing white.

‘Ewa’ 2023 Pinot Blanc

Grapes from Hampshire, UK

What’s the wine like?

Light-coloured wine with notes of apple and nectarines. It has got a savoury undernote with vanilla and flint aromas.

Christmas Pairing Suggestion: A great pairing for the none-meat-eaters this festive season!

‘Amy’ 2021 Barrel Fermented Chardonnay

Grapes grown in Lombardy, Italy.

What’s the wine like?

Think Burgundy with a London twist. The oak contact lends a creaminess to the wine with a lovely mouthfeel, still the wine maintains a freshness and minerality that strikes a gorgeous balance with ripe stone fruits on the palate.

Christmas Pairing Suggestion: For those who prefer a white with their Christmas Dinner, Amy is your girl. Pairs well with medium to mature cheeses, fish, chicken, turkey, pork and vegetarian dishes.

‘Araceli’ 2021 Pinot Grigio Ramato Skin Contact

Grapes grown in the Pfalz, Germany.

What’s the wine like?

Interesting and unusual. Think of a skin contact/orange style of white wine but with more red wine style structure and palate weight. Notes of white pepper, cherry, vanilla, cloves, and a real wild strawberry-ness when it starts to open up, with a lightly tannic yet soft structure.

Christmas Pairing Suggestion: For those that dare to try something a little different over the Christmas period.

‘Janet’ 2022 Malvasia Skin Contact

Grapes grown in Puglia, Italy.

What’s the wine like?

A textured, golden-coloured wine with nutty, honey and savoury aromas.

Christmas Pairing Suggestion: Another option for the bold amongst you that want to try new and delicious wines this Christmas. Spark conversation with a glass of Janet.

‘Gary’ 2021 Pinot Noir

Grapes grown in Oltrepo Pavese, Italy.

What’s the wine like?

A cracking Burgundy-esque Pinot with a London vibe. A beautiful light/medium bodied red with soft tannins, lots of red fruit (wild strawberries, cherries) and some floral notes. Overall, it's very nicely balanced.

Christmas Pairing Suggestion: For those who prefer red with their Christmas meal. Pairs beautifully with turkey, beef and pork.

‘Susana’ 2022 Pinot Noir

Grapes grown in Pfalz, Germany

What’s the wine like?

A light bodied aromatic red with lovely freshness.  Strawberries, cherries and vanilla with some spicy notes. This wine is delicate and elegant with long finish.

Christmas Pairing Suggestion: Open Susana on New Year’s Day to start the year in style. Pairs well with medium to mature cheese, turkey and pork - light bodied, elegant and refreshing.

‘Lynne’ 2021 Cab Sav

Grapes from Penedés, Spain

What’s the wine like?

A medium to full bodied red wine that was aged in barrels for 24 months. Integrated and smooth tannins in the mouth with a rich blackcurrant and blackberry flavour completed by nuts and pepper notes.

Christmas Pairing Suggestion: A premium option for those wanting a memorable Christmas Day tipple. Pair with red meat and flavorful dishes.

‘Vern Vermouth’ 2017

Merlot/Cabernet Sauvignon sweet red Vermouth

What's the Vermouth like?

A super duper limited release special made with the 2017 Vern wine. A superb wine in its own right made from premium Albanian grapes.  The wine was barrel aged in ex Bourbon barrels before being passed to the wizards at ELLC so they could both create a unique distillate as well as aromatising with incredible botanicals. It was then sweetened before ageing again for 2yrs in barrel.

Christmas Pairing Suggestion: Pair with your Christmas Day Dessert.
