'Marc' 2022 Riesling

£26.00
Limited Availability

Grapes from Pfalz, Germany.

Wine made in London.

What’s the wine like?

Marc has always been defined by its refreshing acidity, aromas of apricot and strong citrus character with lime shining through, and this year is no exception. A particular sunny year in Germany made for some especially ripe grapes in the Pfalz, making for a more fruit driven wine than previous vintages but with the same signature minerality keeping it in balance. 2022 was an excellent harvest for Germany and we expect this Riesling to be a wonderful example of this.

So how was Marc made?

The grapes were pressed off the skins and cold settled for 24 hours. It was then inoculated with a yeast stain and fermented in stainless steel for 10 days. It continued to age in stainless steel for 5 months before it was sterile filtered and bottled.

Who is Marc?

Marc (46) is a writer and Editor living in Hackney.
