Very different to the 2016. Natural ferment. A touch of new French Oak. More skin contact than 2016. Portion of on-skins fermented separately and blended in. Not so much a classic Burgundy with a twist. More classic Burgundy with a roller coaster punch of modernity with great length, uber complex, super mineral and bleed’in lovely. More a food wine, than a ‘smash it in the sun’.
